Abstract: 

In this study, the Potential Applied Viscosity (PAV) has been measured on 5 types of raw material in wied varities range.The lowest and highest PAV values were observed for maize and barley, respectively.Cereal PAV caj be properly estimated by extraction at PH, 1.5 without ethanolic treatment. Real applied viscosity(RAV) was affected by temperature of pelleting(2.5mm), The high RAV values were observed only when PAV was also high and the temperature of pelleting was above 90°C. Particle size of extracted flours greatly changes the RAV values and coarse grinding result the low RAV values. It is demonstrated that enzymi activity could not affected by particle size.Excretion and consumption of water relative to feed intake are measured in 5 week-old meat-turkey poults by 5 diets. Regression lines are fixed with the data (for raw material) as the dependant variables, and the diet parameters were as the independent variables.The most efficient equations are based on RAV and potassium on PAV, temperature of pelleting and potassium. The highest R2values was 0.758. According to the expressions of equations, the effects of dependant variables are not increased in this case.

Abstract: 

Methane is the simplest alkane and the main constituent of natural gas, shale gas, and gas hydrate. Its viscosity has both academic and industrial importance. A new model for the methane viscosity was developed based on the theory of the averaged intermolecular potential field. The derived equations of the model were fitted to 1669 experimental data points in good agreement over the parameter ranges: from 100 to 523 K with the pressure from 0. 047 up to 1000 MPa. The new model also comprehensively performed better than the famous samples in comparison. The physical base, good numerical behavior, and better-comparing performance suggest that the model has considerable theoretical significance and practical application potentials.

Abstract: 

THE SEPARATION OF A WIDE RANGE OF CONTAMINANTS IN SURFACE WATER AND GROUNDWATER HAS BECOME A CRITICAL ISSUE WORLDWIDE, DUE TO POPULATION GROWTH, RAPID DEVELOPMENT OF INDUSTRIALIZATION, AND LONG-TERM DROUGHTS [1]. HEAVY METALS IN WASTEWATER ARE ONE OF THE SEVERE ENVIRONMENTAL CONCERNS. DUE TO THE HARMFUL EFFECT OF HEAVY METALS IN WASTEWATER, IT IS NECESSARY TO FIND A GOOD METHOD TO TREAT WASTEWATER CONTAINING TOXIC METALS TO REMOVE THEIR HAZARDOUS EFFECTS ON HUMAN HEALTH AND ECOLOGY. IN ORDER TO MINIMIZE THE HEALTH RISKS OF TOXIC HEAVY METALS MANY METHODS HAVE BEEN SUGGESTED BY DIFFERENT RESEARCH GROUPS TO REMOVE TOXIC HEAVY METAL IONS FROM WASTEWATERS SUCH AS CHEMICAL PRECIPITATION, ION-EXCHANGE, MEMBRANE FILTRATION, ADSORPTION, ELECTROCHEMICAL TREATMENT, AND SO ON. ALTHOUGH ALL OF THESE TECHNIQUES CAN BE EMPLOYED TO REMOVE HEAVY METALS FROM WASTEWATER, THEY ALSO HAVE SOME INHERENT ADVANTAGES AND LIMITATIONS [1-3]. ELECTROCHEMICAL TREATMENT TECHNIQUE FOR REMOVAL OF HEAVY METAL FROM WASTEWATER IS A PROCESS CONSISTING ELECTRO DISSOLUTION OF SOLUBLE ANODES, USUALLY MADE OF IRON OR ALUMINUM. THE GENERATION OF METALLIC CATIONS TAKES PLACE AT THE ANODE, DUE TO THE ELECTROCHEMICAL OXIDATION OF THE IRON OR ALUMINUM, WHEREAS AT THE CATHODE THE PRODUCTION OF HYDROGEN TYPICALLY OCCURS.ELECTROCOAGULATION PROCESS INVOLVES MANY CHEMICAL AND PHYSICAL PHENOMENA, SUCH AS ANODIC OXIDATION, CATHODIC REDUCTION, COAGULATION, ELECTROPHORETIC MIGRATION, AND ADSORPTION. THIS METHOD IS REGARDED AS A RAPID AND WELL-CONTROLLED METHOD THAT REQUIRES FEWER CHEMICALS, PROVIDES GOOD REDUCTION YIELDS AND PRODUCES LESS SLUDGE. ALTHOUGH ALL ABOVE TECHNIQUES CAN BE EMPLOYED FOR THE WASTEWATER TREATMENT, IT IS IMPORTANT TO NOTICE THAT THE SELECTION OF THE MOST SUITABLE TREATMENT TECHNIQUES DEPENDS ON SOME FACTORS SUCH AS THE INITIAL METAL CONCENTRATION, THE COMPONENT OF THE WASTEWATER, CAPITAL INVESTMENT AND OPERATIONAL COST, PLANT FLEXIBILITY, RELIABILITY AND ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT [4]. IN THIS STUDY, WE ATTEMPT TO REMOVE COBALT FROM WATER ELECTROCHEMICALLY BY APPLYING DIFFERENT POTENTIAL. THE APPLIED POTENTIAL IS AN IMPORTANT PARAMETER IN ALL ELECTROCHEMICAL SYSTEMS. THE ELECTROCHEMICAL CELL CONTAINS 200 ML OF POLLUTED WATER (~100 PPM COBALT) AND TWO IRON SHEETS AS SACRIFICIAL ANODE AND CATHODE. THE REACTION WAS CONDUCTED WITH AN APPLIED POTENTIAL RANGING FROM 8 V TO 30 V, FOR HALF AN HOUR. THE CONCENTRATION OF COBALT IN WATER BEFORE AND AFTER TREATMENT WAS DETERMINED. THE OBTAINED RESULTS SHOW THAT THE CONCENTRATION OF COBALT IN WATER AFTER TREATMENT IS IN THE RANGE ~8 PPM TO ~44 PPM, DEPENDING ON THE APPLIED POTENTIAL. IN FACT INCREASING THE VOLTAGE CAN HELP TO INCREASE THE ELECTROCHEMICAL REACTION RATE AND PRODUCE MORE PRECIPITATE IN THE ELECTROCHEMICAL CELL. BASED ON OUR RESULTS IT IS POSSIBLE TO REDUCE THE CONCENTRATION OF COBALT IN WATER FROM ~100 PPM TO ABOUT 8 PPM, USING ELECTROCHEMICAL METHOD. WE SUGGEST THIS METHOD AS AN EASY AND PROMISING TECHNIQUE FOR REMOVAL OF HEAVY METALS FROM AQUEOUS MEDIUM.

Abstract: 

Aim and Background: The main purpose of this study was to review the effectiveness of applied behavioral analysis (ABA) approach on symptoms of autistic children during a five-year period.Methods and Materials: In this quasi-experimental study, 20 autistic children (3-7 years of age) were intervened by ABA approach at Isfahan Center of Autism for a period of five years (2007-12). Gilliam Autism Rating Scale (GARS) was filled out at baseline and at the end of the five-year period. Besides, the subjects were assessed by a checklist including cognitive comprehension, mathematical and verbal skills, and self-help at the beginning of the study and at the end of each year. After five years, all collected data was analyzed with SPSS19.Findings: Pretest and the posttest values of stereotypic behaviors, communication problems, social interactions, and GARS total scores were significantly different (P<0.001). Furthermore, significant improvements in cognitive comprehension, mathematical and verbal skills, and self-help were observed after each year and at the end of the five-year period (P<0.001).Conclusions: On the whole, it can be concluded that ABA-based interventions can effectively reduce symptoms of autism and increase skills.

Abstract: 

THE PRESENCE OF LONG SIDE CHAINS IN LDPE MOLECULE LEADS TO THE RISE OF UNIAXIAL VISCOSITY ABOVE TROUTON RATIO IN UNIAXIAL ELONGATIONAL FLOW. IN THIS PAPER THE DYNAMIC OSCILLATORY TESTS AT 3 DIFFERENT TEMPERATURES USED FOR EVALUATING THE TIME-TEMPERATURE SUPERPOSITION. ALL DYNAMIC MODULI SHIFTED TO THE REFERENCE TEMPERATURE OF 160OC. THE SUPERIMPOSED DATA SHOWED THAT THE TIME-TEMPERATURE SUPERPOSITION PRINCIPLE HOLDS FOR THE STUDIED LDPE. THE STRAIN HARDENING BEHAVIOR OF LDPE STUDIED IN UNIDIRECTIONAL FLOW, BY A HOME-MADE SER FIXTURE, AT DIFFERENT STRAIN RATES.

Abstract: 

The importance of sustainability development for developing countries and their tourism is a major issue. This study presents a new approach and framework for spatial modelling of tourism products potentials (TPP) in their sustainability evaluation. The approach was developed based on the GIS multi-criteria decision analysis (MCDA) and its performance was evaluated for spatial TPP mapping in Tabriz city, Iran. To achieve this purpose, we recognized the main Components of Tourism Development indicators (CTDI) such as attractions, accommodation, services and infrastructures facilities to improving sustainable tourism, and determined their significance using the Geographic information systems (GIS). Furthermore, the uncertainty analyze was applied to diminish the inherent error in criteria weights. A GIS-based aggregation function was applied to discern the TPP map. Finally, the emphasis in this paper investigates the practical usage of GIS for the benefit of sustainable tourism development. In particular, it inquired the possible opportunities and challenges facing the adoption of GIS to assist sustainable tourism development. The purpose of this article is to map and explore existing and potential attractions, tourism services and facilities in Tabriz and to ensure that potential opportunities are available for all tourists to enjoy enjoyable experiences in order to reveal their diverse economic, social, political and cultural benefits. Build on the positive and negative aspects of their construction and present them with appropriate solutions for tourism development that lead to sustainable tourism development and infrastructure improvement.

Abstract: 

Introduction: Musculoskeletal problems are the common complaints of patients refer to internal medicine clinics and the pain is the most important of them. There are different physiotherapy methods for reduction of pain and action potential simulation therapy (APS therapy) is one of newest methods. The aim of this study was to determine reduction of pain with APS therapy. Materials & Methods: In 47 patients with different musculoskeletal pain APS therapy performed in 6 days each for 16 minutes and with current of 0.7-1.2 mA. Pain (VAS), Global functional status (ACR) and relief of pain (VAS) before and after study compared.Results: APS therapy reduced pain (p<0.001) and increased Global functional status (p<0.001) and increased relief of pain (p<0.005) but there was not any correlation between this reduction of pain with APS therapy and educational status and past history of physiotherapy and duration of illness in these patients.Conclusion: APS therapy is a useful physiotherapy modality for reduction of pain in musculoskeletal problems.

Abstract: 

Since Critical Rationalism is considered by some more of an attitude or mindset and by others a methodological approach to philosophical thinking and practical problem-solving, its application, or more accurately, its epistemological testing grounds, should be expected to be much more wide-ranging than they have been so far. With the exception of some published anthologies on Critical Rationalism and occasional nods to the legacy of Karl Popper’s falsificationist methodology, relatively few applicaions of a critical rational approach to contemporary theoretical debates in the social sciences have been published. I wish here to critically challenge the (optimistic) Hegelian and by extension the neoliberal view of the progress of American capitalism by reframing it with the Marxian notion of expropriation as applied to enslavement on plantations. The logic of enslavement as a process by which brutal exploitation has been practiced for centuries offers a falsifying test case of the rationality of capitalism and its promise of individual freedom of choice. This essay is an explicit exercise in the potential power of a version of Popperian critical rationalism being applied to the intersection of modern liberalism and capitalism, exploring the imbrication of a critical and rational analysis.
